Google regularly offers its lightweight version of Android, called Google Go, with new entry-level devices added to its kitty from time to time. Many official Go apps are now available on Google, but it has launched Gallery Go, a lightweight version of Google Photos. It is now available for download anywhere in the world.
Being an application optimized for Go, Gallery Go has a download size of less than 10 MB and the application will only take 20 MB during installation. This is well below the installation size of more than 90 MB of Google Photos, which makes it ideal for basic Alcatel, Xiaomi and Nokia devices.
In addition to its small size, which should be obvious, the main asset of Gallery Go is that it uses machine learning to automatically organize photos on your device. The application works offline and does not require the Internet to organize your images into categories such as selfies, nature, food, screenshots, etc.
This organizational function is not currently available in all countries and India seems to be one of them because we could not see the different categories. Gallery Go supports the dark theme, although it is a comfort.

Another useful feature that Gallery Go offers to novice users is photo editing. Yes, the application does not skimp on the functions that users want and will use. You only get a simplistic photo editor where you can easily crop, rotate and apply filters to your photos. Folders on your device with images also appear in this application.
At the moment, there are no options available in the configuration, with the exception of the option "send comments" at the moment. However, we anticipate that Google will improve Gallery Go functionality over time by offering the ability to back up and share your multimedia files through Google Photos.
